The album slides into action with two titles that herald that work is over and the school holidays commence. The Campus Rock (The Tweeters) is followed by a proclamation of No School Tomorrow (Chuck Reed), and it’s time to do the Hawaiian Rock (Tommy Sands). Everyone is having a Good Time (Royce Porter), the girls are cutely dressed in Blue Jeans And A Boy's Shirt (Glen Glenn) and the slick-haired Rocker (The Montereys) is doing The Walk (The Young Men Four). The Big Beach Party (The Jades) is held on Muscle Beach (Al Barkle), and the cats and kittens (Dance With The) Surfin' Band (Hal Blaine and The Young Cougars). The girls and boys are full of joy for When the Boy's Happy, The Girl's Happy Too (The Four Pennies), Johnny Devlin is watching the people Rave On, Hank Cochran is Goofin' Around, and Dorothy Collins has her eye on a guy with a neat haircut My Boy Flat Top.
A thoughtful lover requests a memory of the vacation Gimme Lock A Yo Hair (Andy Anderson) and the guys who were working the summer, missed out on the beach frolics and ended up with the Summertime Blues (Spic and Span). The vacation is ending with the declaration Summer's Over (Pat Shannon) and the original version of a song that British rocker Billy Fury had a hit with Like I've Never Been Gone (Chase Webster) brings volume three to an end.
